- About Enugu Connect 042 Association
Enugu Connect 042 Association (EC 042) is a social, cultural, and economic organization formed by men of Enugu State origin living in Lagos State. The association was founded in April 2021 during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic when individuals sought ways to support one another and strengthen community bonds.
The idea began with a group of men who met during morning jogging sessions at the FESTAC Shopping Mall in Lagos. After discovering their shared Enugu heritage, they formed a brotherhood focused on unity, support, and collective growth. The first official meeting of the association was held at Sampa Hotel in Amuwo-Odofin, hosted by Chief Kevin Ifegbuike, where the foundation of the association was formally established.
Initially created for Enugu State indigenes living within Amuwo-Odofin, the association later expanded to welcome adult men of Enugu origin across Lagos State. Today, the association has grown steadily in membership and continues to strengthen bonds among members while promoting the culture and identity of Enugu State.
Enugu Connect 042 Association serves as a platform where members support one another socially, economically, and culturally. The association organizes social activities, fosters business collaborations, promotes peaceful coexistence, and contributes to the development of Enugu State and its people.
